Rehovot’s potential is on its way to realization.
Rehovot has always been one of the most desirable cities in Israel’s central plain, thanks to its prime location, high-quality population, and of course, its status as home to the Weizmann Institute of Science, the Hebrew University’s Faculty of Agriculture, the Peres Academic Center, and Kaplan Medical Center. In recent years, its rapidly growing high-tech park has further strengthened the city’s position as a leading urban center.
These factors have led to a steady influx of high socioeconomic residents, creating soaring demand that the city struggled to meet for years.
That changed with the introduction of the East Rehovot Plan, which includes the establishment of a new neighborhood featuring approximately 8,400 residential units, along with 630,000 square meters dedicated to commerce, employment, leisure, and recreation. The plan generated significant interest among investors, developers, and planners alike.
In 2023, the East Rehovot Plan was approved by the National Planning Committee, and in 2025, it received final authorization following a ruling by the Supreme Court, officially greenlighting its development.
Trigo Group, which invested in the neighborhood alongside its clients prior to the plan’s approval, is now advancing the design and execution phases of its projects within the new district.
