Hod Hasharon on its way to 150,000 residents
Hod Hasharon has long been regarded as one of the most desirable cities in the Sharon region, maintaining its pastoral charm, community spirit, and village-like atmosphere despite its rapid population growth. This is likely why the city’s population has grown by about 20% over the past decade, and continues to rise.
In 2024, the Hod Hasharon Municipality submitted its Master Plan for 2050, preparing for a population of around 150,000 residents by that year.
A key component of this plan is the Shvil HaTapuzim Neighborhood, where 2,230 new residential units will be built alongside 10,000 square meters of commercial and office space, as well as educational, cultural, and municipal infrastructure.
Shvil HaTapuzim is the only neighborhood in the plan being developed in the heart of the city, adjacent to Hod Hasharon’s established and beloved neighborhoods, unlike other new districts planned on the outskirts.
This ensures the neighborhood will integrate naturally into the city’s urban fabric and benefit from its excellent municipal services.
Thanks to its limited number of housing units and exceptional location, it is expected to become one of the most sought-after areas in the city.
Trigo Group manages an investment in land designated for construction within the neighborhood – an area that the Hod Hasharon Municipality considers a priority development zone, and is actively advancing its planning process.
